The Philophy of LIFE

I asked for strength and God gave me
difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for wisdom and God gave me
problems to solve.

I asked for prosperity and God gave me
brain and brawn to work.

I asked for courage and God gave me
danger to overcome.

I asked for love and God gave me
troubled people to help.

I asked for favours and God gave me
oppurtunities.

I received nothing I wanted
I got everything I needed.


TAKE LIFE AS IT COMES

Myself

I have to live with myself and so I want to be fit for myself to know.

I want to be able as days go by to look myself in the eye.

I don’t want stand with the setting sun and think of the things I have or have not done.

I want to go out with my head erect.

I want to be able to deserve each man’s respect I want to be able to like myself.

I don’t want to look at myself and say that I am a bluster, a bluff and an empty show.

I cannot hide myself from me; I can see what others cannot see.

I know what others may never know.

I can never fool myself so I want to be self supporting and conscience free.
